Learn to study your Bible

I had the privilege to speak to the Living Stones Fellowship church family this month. They are studying the book of Acts and are coming up on chapter 10 where Peter goes to Caesarea. They wanted me to provide some background on the city. So, I wrote a whole new lesson on the archaeology of that city. The last week of February I was back at Fort Wilderness teaching the TruNorth students. I taught three lessons on Bible study methods: a character study, inductive Bible study, and a book study. Learning to study your Bible on your own is important to get more out of it. The students were astounded by the details they discovered! They said they really like it when I teach because I teach them new things and explain everything so clearly. I love being back at Fort teaching these young people and connecting with dear friends.

We have surpassed 6000 subscribers on our YouTube channel! PTL! Charlotte is putting the finishing touches on parts 3 and 4 of The Evidence for the Exodus series. They should be available for viewing in the next day or two.

We have some sad news to share, Charlotte has turned in her registration. We are so grateful for all she has done in helping us launch this ministry. She will continue to partner with us on an as needed basis as a volunteer. But God is leading her in a new direction. Please pray with us as we search for someone to fill this position. A job description and more details are available on the website. Please spread the word to anyone you know who might wish to join us as we seek to equip Christians with the knowledge and tools to grow and defend their faith.

Life is the bubbles

Our adventure under the sea is only weeks away. We have 19 students, 5 of them are adults. 😊 Praise God, someone has agreed to let us use their suburban to haul the trailer filled with food and supplies to the Keys! We have raised $9300 of our $10,000 goal for sponsorships. If you have been impacted by this trip or know someone who has, won’t you please consider helping us meet that goal. There are many details still to be finalized. Pray for safety, good weather, bonding, and spiritual impact.

• 2024 Marine Biology Program – The dates are March 28-April 6.
• Creation Museum & Ark Encounter – April 25-27, registration is required! Check out the website for details.
• 2025 Israel Trip – The itinerary has been updated, dates will be January 8-20, and final details have been secured. Registration is now open. More details and the link for signing up can be found on the website.

Things in Israel are calming down and opening back up. So, registration for the 2025 trip to Israel is now open. Come experience the Holy Lands with us and begin reading your Bible in a whole new way!
