I know the plans I have for you

This month I spoke/taught for a baccalaureate service, a Sunday morning service, a Sunday school class, and the ICHE Homeschool Conference. The baccalaureate service was held at Walnut Hill Bible Church in Baraboo, a church we’ve had connections with for over 20 years. I often speak for their annual youth group retreats. They have 16 graduating from high school, ready to take their next step in the plans God has for them. Several of the parents thanked me for the amazing and impactful message. The Sunday service was at Living Stones Fellowship in Stevens Point. They always include a testimony time as part of their service. This particular Sunday it consisted of mostly young people sharing. It was so encouraging to hear their sincere desire to follow Christ and live for Him. My sermon was on Shamgar (Judges 3:31) taken from the Keep the Fires Burning series. One important lesson we can learn from him is to use what we have to do what God is asking us to do. One person was astounded at how much I got out of that verse. 😊

ICHE stands for Illinois Christian Home Educators. We had a booth promoting E4F in their exhibit hall and I taught three hands-on workshops for the kids: Squishy Flubber Soap, Gem Dig, and Oysters & Pearls. Every class was filled to capacity, and we received lots of positive feedback. One of the dads who attended the classes with his kids said they were so engaging and he loved them. The committee has asked me to come back next year and possibly lead even more workshops. Before heading home, we made a visit to Calvary Bible Church, our home church that sent us to the mission field. I taught Sunday school (The lesson was a new one on evidence that has been found supporting that King David actually did live as the Bible records.  This lesson will soon be recorded as a video.) and provided a ministry update, they hosted a potluck in our honor. That church family holds such a special place in our hearts.

• There were 458 podcast downloads
• We had 340 “unique” listeners
• The Exodus series remains on top

Adventure trips

• 2025 Israel Trip – Since people are not comfortable traveling to Israel at this time, we are rescheduling the trip to January 2026. You can sign up on the waiting list and we will contact you when specific details are available.
• Marine Biology – The dates for next year are April 17-26, 2025. The cost will be $2250. We had 10 people take advantage of the May discount! There are only 15 spots left, so reserve your spot soon!
• May/June 2025 – Watch for an announcement about a possible adventure to experience the travels of Paul.

• Pray for a replacement for Charlotte. We have an interview with a young man on June 4^th.
• Praise God! We are off to a great start filling the 2025 MB trip!
• Pray for new opportunities. Maybe you know someone who would be interested in booking an event.
• Pray for more funding and monthly donors as we begin our 4^th year to help us reach our monthly goal of $12,500 to cover salaries and operating expenses! We currently are at 54%. Please consider partnering with us.
• Michael is facing complications from his cataract surgery. The decision now is to wait and let the eye continue to heal. Please pray that it does. A second surgery would be very risky.
• Please pray that God will raise up someone to meet our need for a ministry vehicle. The one we are currently using is pushing 300K miles and is starting to fall apart from all the rust.
