Your plans are for me
In a song by Hillary Scott, she sings, “Your plans are for me, goodness you have in store.” Over the past six weeks, God has presented us with a huge opportunity to trust Him as our perfect, sufficient, and sovereign Savior. Charlotte, who has been our Business Manager from the beginning and helped launch Evidence 4 Faith, decided it was time to part ways and embark on a new journey to launch her own graphic design LLC. Thus, we have been without a Business Manager and tech support for a time, and certain things have come to a standstill. None of this caught God off guard, so we trusted that He would see us through and reveal His plans for E4F.
Shortly after this happened and word got out of our need for a new Business Manager, Julia Shoppach – a young woman we have known from Fort Wilderness for years – expressed interest in coming alongside E4F to help further the Lord’s work through this ministry. On October 30th, Julia signed a contract and is now an official member of the E4F team. Welcome, Julia! (read more later under “Meet Our New Business Manager: Julia!”)

Busy, busy, busy
September through mid-October was crazy busy with live events. Let me give you a rundown of where I have been!
I spent the weekend of the 13th – 15th at Riverside Bible Camp as the speaker for the Stevens Point area YEAH retreat. There were about 80 youth, grades 7-12. They chose the topics of suffering and being a lukewarm Christian. The leaders said that the lessons led to great discussions in their small groups. I had a discussion with one of the students and was able to answer some deep questions she was struggling with.
It was fabulous to get back at Fort Wilderness for two separate Margo Fieseler Ministries Women’s Retreats. I spoke for one of their breakout sessions and did the same lesson on being a lukewarm Christian and the archaeology behind this passage in Revelation 3. There was so much positive feedback! Margo told me, “You rock!” One woman expressed how grateful she was to learn how to study her Bible.
I also spent two weeks teaching the Trailhead students at Forest Springs Camp and Conference Center. Trailhead is a discipleship program to help high school graduates cement their personal faith. The students said on more than one occasion that the material I presented blew their minds. Some of the topics I taught were Bible translations, the origins of the Bible, why there are four gospels, biblical archaeology, and the New Covenant. I am always grateful to have the opportunity to equip believers with the knowledge and tools to grow and defend the faith!
A dear friend of mine who teaches third grade at Zionsville Community Schools invited me to Zoom with her students as a culmination to their unit on oceans. As a marine biologist, she wanted me to share some of my adventures exploring the sea. There ended up being ten classrooms linked into this presentation. One teacher said, “Michael should have his own TV show! He’s like an ocean Bill Nye!” LOL
Without Charlotte, we have not been able to publish any new courses. There are five podcasts still needing some final editing, two on suffering, and three on discipleship. We plan to get these finished and scheduled for publication as soon as possible. I have decided to reshoot the video series on David and the Giants to make them shorter. That will make them easier to edit and more appealing to a larger audience of listeners.
A first time ever
History has been made! For the first time since beginning the Marine Biology program over 30 years ago, we have filled the trip before Thanksgiving! (We were full by September 17th!) We have 25 students registered for the 2025 trip. Thanks God! There is a waitlist available if you missed out. But more than likely, you will have to wait until 2026.
Meet our new Business Manager: Julia!
We are so excited and thrilled to share that Julia Shoppach will be joining Evidence 4 Faith as the new Business Manager! We met her and her family years ago during Family Camp at Fort Wilderness. Based in the Milwaukee area, Julia has eight years of experience managing brands, from award-winning music artist Vintage Mix, to nonprofit Christian camp Fort Wilderness, to American research firm Business Development Directives. She just graduated from The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Communication degree, specializing in public relations and advertising. Ultimately, she describes herself as a “Christ-follower” and is “ready to continue harnessing the power of communication to impact more lives for Jesus Christ.” Welcome to Evidence 4 Faith, Julia!
