Live intentionally

Happy 2024! As the crazy stressfulness of the holiday season settles and we get back into our regular routines, I hope you took time to ponder the birth of our Lord and all His wonders. As we begin a new year, I pray that we will strive to live intentionally and make the most of the doors God opens for us to engage in conversation and advance the gospel. (Colossians 4:5-6) May His Word dwell in us richly. (Colossians 3:16) John MacArthur’s commentary explains it – “Scripture should permeate every aspect of a believer’s life and control every thought, word, and deed.”

December was a quiet month, with no live events. We were able to get a decent amount of filming done and Charlotte is diligently editing those courses so they can be published. The first of a four-part series on The Exodus is completed and available as a video and podcast. In this one on the Pharaoh of the Exodus, I provide evidence to reveal who the Pharaoh most likely was during this time. So far, the shorts (less than a minute) on part one have been viewed by over 5K, the clips (10-15 minutes) more than 1K, and the full-length video has had over 600 views. Anything on the Exodus and Egyptology seems to attract those searching for the truthfulness of the Bible and archaeology. Pray that this will be a gateway for non-believers.

Your powerful effective prayers were answered, PTL! My neck pain is mostly gone; however, I am still experiencing pain in my arm. The MRI revealed the issue is a couple of bone spurs pressing on my spinal cord. The current plan is steroid injections, but I can’t get in until January 22nd. I am very grateful that surgery is not necessary at this time! We also have a lead on a possible vehicle for E4F. Please continue to pray!

Upcoming events

2024 Marine Biology Program – The dates are March 28-April 6. We have accepted 16 applicants and have room for 9 more. Adults are welcome, we have 4 already signed up. The trip is less than three months away, so it’s crunch time! If you know anyone who might be interested in this amazing adventure, please share!!

2025 Israel Trip – The itinerary has been updated, dates will be January 8-20, and final details are being secured. At this time, we are planning to go ahead with this trip. Emmaus Journeys is working on updating their website to advertise it. If you are interested, go to the website, and put your name on the waiting list so you can be notified of when registration opens. (Which should be very soon!)

End of year giving

We received several generous end of year gifts putting us at 81% of the $12,500 needed monthly for salaries and expenses! The calendar year has ended, but our fiscal year goes through the end of April so there is still time to help us meet our goal! Click here to start a donation.
