2026 Marine Biology Trip
Another Marine Biology Trip has come and gone. For nearly 40 years, I have been running these trips and every year I am blessed to see God’s hand at work in these students’ lives. This year, we took 23 students and 15 staff down to the Florida Keys where, as usual, we set up a marine biology lab and embarked on a nine-day journey of studying, exploring, bonding, and learning about God.
Also, as usual, the devil did try to interfere. On day one, our boat broke down, causing some dilemmas with excursions to marine habitats, and the wind also made things challenging, not just for our daily activities but also our trip to the coral reef was cancelled. However, God continued to show His goodness and sovereignty as He provided other opportunities for us. Instead of taking the students to the coral reef, we took them to Theater of the Sea, a marine mammal park. And despite the rough seas, the kids had a blast finding so many wonderful specimens. From brightly colored flame scallops to nurse sharks and rays, even sea turtles and a female manatee with her calf, God gifted them all with such wonderful blessings.
As I always do on these trips, each night I share a Bible lesson while we gather around the water’s edge under the coconut trees. This year, the topic was Abide with Me (you can listen to this course on our website). Each student stated they were impacted by this lesson and grew closer to God. One student said, “The Bible messages turned my heart and convicted my thinking.” Another stated, “The Seashore Sessions really explained to me how to tell true Christians from false disciples, and the idea that reading our Bible is like looking into the face of God has inspired me to read and study it more often.” Someone also said, “I have been struggling with a lot of worry and doubt, and the sessions really helped with that. Many things were said that God used to show me what I needed to know.” Also, one student claimed that she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior on the trip! Praise God for the work He has done!

Getting Back into the Swing of Things
Now that the Marine Bio trip is completed and I have gotten some rest, I am back in the studio, working once again on bringing you all new content. Our “Devotions by the Sea” series is almost complete so stayed tuned for our next podcast series that I think you will all enjoy!

Israel Trip Postponed – Date TBD
Due to the continued unrest in the Middle East, and with people’s concerns in committing to a trip to Israel, we have sadly decided to cancel our Biblical Archaeology Trip that was scheduled for this fall. Please join us as we continue to pray for Israel, and may they have a time of peace once again. We hope to plan another Biblical Archaeology Trip in the future, so please stay tuned!

April 30th marked the end of our fiscal year, and E4F ended up being 90% fully funded. Though we came shy of our goal of goal of being completely funded, we are praising God for His provision, and we are thanking Him for the gifts that have been sent our way. We now begin the start of a new fiscal year, and we are already aiming to our goal to raise $12,500 per month for a total of $150,000 for the year. - Michael is still struggling with his hands. His feeling is still greatly limited in his fingers and it is continuing to cause him pain. Please continue to pray that God would give him complete healing.
