Is the Bible full of errors and contradictions? People often make this claim. But in this series, Michael Lane will take some of those claims and use science, knowledge of past cultures, and going back to the original language to prove that these are not actual errors and that the Bible is truly reliable and consistent. Michael is a biologist, Bible teacher, and author and has a passion for proving that the Bible is truly dependable.
This series was created for the Seashore Sessions on the 2025 Marine Biology trip, and several of the students on that trip stated that this series helped them to see how reliable the Bible is, and it strengthened their faith. They also felt more equipped to better defend the Word of God after this study.

Episode 2: Why Does Jesus Have Two Different Genealogies? | 22 Minutes
In this week’s podcast, Michael Lane discusses the topic of genealogy in the Bible from the Florida Keys as he leads students on the 2025 Marine Biology trip! In Biblical times, genealogy was so important to show the lineage of families. To the Israelites it’s still very important piece of their culture. Skeptics and critics will use these two genialities as evidence that the Bible cannot be trusted because they are different.
